A refreshing blend of mint leaves, whiskey and ginger beer; the Irish Mule is easy to make and sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

Step by Step method

  • MUDDLE

    Add 7 fresh mint leaves and a dash of cane sugar to your mule mug and muddle the leaves to release the mint oil.

  • ADD

    Your fresh lime juice and Irish Whiskey to the mint mixture and let it set for about 5 minutes.

  • STIR

    Slowly stir-in your ginger beer so that the carbonation isn't lost.

  • TOP OFF

    Your mule mug with ice cubes and garnish your masterpiece with a sprig or two of mint leaves.

Tips & variations

  • TIP: If you're not a fan of picking mint out of your teeth, try muddling the mint in a separate container like a shaker. Add your lime juice and Whiskey to the shaker and strain the mixture into your mule mug before adding the ginger beer.
